The Floyd Davis Collection consists of forty-one finished and unfinished wood sculptures that were created between 1948 and up to his passing in 1999. They are hand crafted and hand finished, exuding the pride and work ethic that typified my grandfather.

The Collection consists of the following:

Bear Shot by Hunter
11'' X 17" plaque. This is a piece from a plastic or foam substance. It was created sometime during the late 1950's.

Indian Chief in Full Headdress
18" tall, 6" wide, 6" deep sculpture. This small scale redwood sculpture is in full dress raising arms to the sky.

Cougar
5" tall, 13" wide, 4" deep sculpture. This is a model possibly made out of plaster.

Indomitable Salmon
10" tall, 15" wide, 5" deep, dated 1964.
This is the model for his sculpture at Prairie Creek Fish Hatchery. Made of redwood and mounted.

Standing Nude
20" tall, 12" wide, 4" deep plaque. Unfinished redwood plaque.

Two Bear Cubs
24" tall, 10" wide, 10" deep. Two separate bear cubs sculptures made of unfinished redwood.

Buffalo Dancer (1964)
76" tall, 32" wide, 48" deep. Sculpted from a single piece of old growth redwood, the Buffalo Dancer depicts a Sioux warrior dancing after a buffalo kill. Polished wax finish.

Bigfoot (1961)
92" tall, 46" wide, 44" deep. Redwood sculpture of Bigfoot holding a rock while being startled on the river bed. Hand polished wax finish.

Nude (1957)
72" tall, 24" wide, 26" deep. Redwood sculpture of nude woman. Burl and tiger wood grain. Hand polished wax finish.

Indian Runner (Date Unknown)
86" tall, 30" wide, 58" deep. Redwood sculpture of Sioux Indian running man. Hand polished wax finish.
