As his proud grandson, I have been obsessed with his work my entire life. In fact, a large portion of my adult life has been devoted to preserving these masterpieces. And now, after much reflection, I feel the best way to preserve his work will be to show and sell the Floyd Davis collection so he will receive the national recognition as one of the truly great self-taught American artists of the 20th century. |
